Making the impossible possible.

Whether you’re remodeling a small closet or renovating an entire home,
no space or idea is too big or too small.

Our Story

My love for the construction industry started at a very young age. When I was just eleven years old, I accompanied my mother on the Kansas City Parade of Homes and absolutely fell in love with a Charlie Koehler built model home. I still remember being mesmerized by the detail of the trim work, the quality of craftsmanship and how much I loved one of the bedrooms that had two steps leading into it. Before the Parade of Homes was over, I went through that home at least 3 more times.

Fast forward 9 years to when I met my wife while attending the University of Kansas. When she took me home to meet her parents for the first time, you’ll never guess the house? Yep! That’s right, she was the lucky kid that grew up in that cool bedroom with the two steps. To this day, they still live in that house and I still love it like I did back then. Things have come full circle as I have also had the privilege of remodeling different parts of that very home over the years.

After graduating from the University of Kansas, I took my first job in the building industry, working for Pulte Homes, a Fortune 500 company known for being one of the top residential builders in the world. While at Pulte, I was recruited to join one of Kansas City’s best family run residential home builders, TE Woods Homes. They were looking to hire me to help open the only Jack Nicklaus golf course community in the area. While there, I worked with a great client that owned a local fire and flood restoration company. In 2008, during the massive downturn in the real estate market, it appeared that his business of insurance restoration was one of the few industries that was recession-proof. It seemed to be the best of both worlds, as I could stay in the construction field, which I loved, but still manage to make a living.

It was after several years of being in the fire and flood restoration business that I started getting calls from past clients wanting to remodel their homes. I quickly realized that more of my book of business came from remodeling than from insurance claims. This presented the perfect opportunity to branch out on my own and start Brandtonies Construction.

I love working with clients to make their dreams a reality and to make the impossible possible. There are no ideas and no projects too big or too small. Although the quality of work is very important, I pride myself on excellent and transparent communication, honesty, integrity, job site cleanliness and especially on the relationship between myself and my clients, from start to finish and beyond. I stand behind my product 100%, for life. You won’t find a better warranty than that.
